Organize, launch, and enjoy your favorite web apps with ease. Make an app with your favorite AI, add it to Emberden, and it lives on your iPhone or iPad — private, offline, and yours.
On your device, and nowhere else. Emberden has no accounts and no servers. That also means a backup is the only copy outside your device, so back up now and then (see below).
Open Settings & backup and tap Back up now. In the Share sheet, choose Save to Files (iCloud Drive is a good place). Leave Include what the apps saved checked so your apps' data comes along.
On the new device, install Emberden and tap Restore from a backup on the welcome screen, or use Settings & backup → Restore from backup.
Earlier versions of an app's code stay on the original device and aren't part of a backup.
Press and hold the app (or tap its ••• button) and choose Export this app's data. On the other device, choose Import data into this app from the same menu. This includes apps that store photos or keep their own databases.
Private (the default) gives each app its own storage, so two apps can never see or overwrite each other's data. Shared is for apps that were added before Private storage existed and already have data saved. You can switch an app in its Edit panel; Emberden copies the data over for you.
Yes. Each time you update an app's code, Emberden keeps the version it replaced (the last five). Press and hold the app, choose Earlier versions, and tap Try it or Restore.
Tap the small Emberden button in the corner. You can drag it to any corner to keep it out of the way. To turn full screen off, open the app's Edit panel.
No. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. See the privacy policy for the details.
